The book on the Five Tibetans was written in the thirties. The original version of "Eye of revelation" was published in 1939. Perhaps Peter Kelder took inspiration from Shangri-La of James Hilton, who's most successful book in Lost Horizon, suggests that the secret of the strength and vitality of Tibetan Lamas is in some ritual exercises. The author, Peter Kelder, inspired by this, describing the research of those rites and how they arrived in the West. With the Five Tibetans will learn about the mysteries that were hidden for so long in the ancient monasteries. The story begins one afternoon in the book where the author, Peter Kelder, is relaxing on a park bench, reading the evening paper. An old gentleman sitting next to him and engages him in conversation. He introduced himself as Colonel Bradford, a retired English army officer who also served in the diplomatic corps of the Crown. His career has led him to the most remote corners of the globe, and Colonel Bradford captivates the interest of Kelder with tales of his adventures. The two depart with the promise to meet again. Then you meet regularly, and eventually shake a solid friendship. One evening, while they are together, the colonel announced a surprising decision that took. When he was stationed in India, some years before, had heard a strange and unforgettable story that covered the blade of a monastery located in remote and wild Tibetan Himalayas. In that monastery, ancient wisdom passed down for thousands of years promised a solution to one of the great mysteries of the world. According to legend, the lamas of the monastery were inheritors of the secret of the Fountain of Youth.Like everyone else, Colonel Bradford had begun to mature at the age of 40 years, and since then he had lost any semblance of youth. More heard about the miraculous Fountain of Youth and more convinced that such a place existed. He began to collect information on the paths to follow, the characteristics of the area, climate, and any other information that could help to identify that location. And, once we begin the search, the Colonel became increasingly obsessed by his desire to find this Fountain of Youth to the point that he decided to return to India and look seriously for the retreat and its secret of lasting youth. Colonel Bradford asked me if I wanted to join him in this endeavor. Kelder wavering in indecision, but eventually surrendered to skepticism, reluctantly declining the invitation.Colonel Bradford himself to accomplish his mission alone. Then, many years passed without giving more news of him. Indeed Kelder had almost forgotten his former friend and the ideas of a Tibetan Shangri-La, when one day a letter announced that the Colonel had reached its goal was to return. Shortly after, when the two were, Kelder has witnessed an amazing transformation. Bradford, unexpectedly, shows the appearance "that the Colonel must have had over the years of his youth, long ago. Instead of a stooped old man, pale with a cane, he saw a tall figure, standing. His face was florid and his hair grew thick and blacks with few traces of gray. "Colonel Bradford proceeded to tell his friend all excited about what had happened during his prolonged absence. He spoke of years of struggle and hardship finally rewarded with success - the discovery of a remote Tibetan monastery whose occupants never grew old.In the monastery, there is nowhere in sight elderly men or women. Llamas, joking good-naturedly, related to the colonel called him "the Old", because much time had elapsed since he had seen someone who looked as old as him. For them, he was almost a novelty."For the first few weeks after my arrival," said the Colonel, "I felt like a fish out of water". Everything I saw was for me a source of wonder, sometimes I could hardly believe my eyes. Soon, my health began to improve. I could sleep soundly at night, and every morning I wake up feeling more and more fresh and energetic. Soon, I realized that my walking stick I was only necessary when hiking in the mountains. "Then, one morning the Colonel encounters a mirror, and for the first time in two years, sees his own reflection. To his utter disbelief and surprise, the image before his eyes is that of a much younger man. The colonel realizes that he has undergone a physical transformation: he appears to fifteen years younger than the day of his arrival."Words can not describe the joy and excitement I felt. In the weeks and months following my appearance continued to improve, and the change became increasingly apparent to all who knew me. In short, my nickname fees, "the Old", there was no more. "So, Colonel Bradford explains exactly how he achieved this remarkable rejuvenation. "The first important thing that I was taught at my entrance into the monastery," said the Colonel, "was this: the body has seven energy centers that could be called vortices. The Hindus call them chakras. They are powerful electrical fields, invisible to our eyes, and yet absolutely real. These seven vortices control the seven endocrine glands in the endocrine system, endocrine glands and, in turn, regulate all body functions, including the aging process ..... "In a healthy body, each of these seven vortexes revolves at great speed, allowing the life energy, also called prana or etheric energy to flow upward through the endocrine system. But if one or more of these vortexes begins to slow down the flow of life energy is inhibited or blocked, and, behold, this could be another way to define aging and poor health."The quickest way to regain youth, health and vitality is to restart the normal rotational movement of these energy centers. This can be achieved through five simple exercises. Each of them is effective in itself, but the best results are obtained with the practice of all five. In reality, this is not true of exercises. The Lamas call them rites and I will refer to them with the same term. "That said the Colonel describes and performs in front of Kelder five yoga exercises he calls "The Five Rites". He recommends Kelder starting with the daily running of every rite repeated three times, and then gradually increase the repetitions until you get to 21 a day.Later, he explains that the benefits of the Rites will be more pronounced for those who practice chastity. While he warns that it is not a realistic goal for most people, he reveals a sixth rite which will be effective for those who accept this challenge. When Bradford played by the revelation of the Five Rites, Kelder began experimenting with full enthusiasm. Within three months he recorded the results are truly remarkable. Anxious to share with others the news of the discovery of Bradford, asked the Colonel to take a course. The colonel agreed, and the small group study that resulted was dubbed the "Himalaya Club". The group met regularly to practice the Five Rites and discuss topics such as diet and nutrition. Indeed, members of the club - all above the age of 50 - shortly drew benefit from the rejuvenating powers of the Five Rites. The thus a large number of people in all countries of the world has been made part of the discovery of the Fountain of Youth made by Bradford.
